Volunteering/Internship Description: |
CEV is offering full-time internship for the duration of minimum 4 months. The successful candidates will be working at CEV’s office in Brussels together with the Director, the Policy and Networking Officer and the Policy and Communication Assistant.
The main tasks will be:
§ Assisting with daily administrative tasks
· Assisting with Policy work: Research on European Policies having an impact on volunteering; specifically the economic value of volunteering and employee volunteering and assisting in drafting of official documents;
§ Attending meetings at European institutions, organisations and other relevant internal and external events/ conferences; Writing reports on meetings
§ Assisting with research on volunteering in Europe
· Updating of databases and internet site
· Helping with the organisation the CEV General Assembly conference ‘Volunteering and Intercultural Dialogue’
§ Contributing to the monthly CEV newsletter
§ Contributing to the further development CEV’s public relations and external communication strategy

Requirements: |
We are looking forward to welcome enthusiastic team players willing to work on own initiative, preferably with a university degree, knowledge of and/or experience in the European institutions and policies with impact on volunteering, communication policy experience as well as good administrative and IT skills. An excellent knowledge of English is required, a good knowledge of French or Dutch is desirable, any other language is an asset. You should have experience in volunteer engagement and be passionate about European social, educational and cultural policies. |

Offer: |
The intern will be given an allowance of 250 EUR per month.
Please note that this internship does not provide you with a work permit for Belgium. |
