Job Description:
ECAS Partner - Barka UK (Polish NGO based in London) is looking for a half-time Project Coordinator for a European project on intra-EU mobility and social inclusion ("One-Stop Mobility Shops" Project) This position is ideally suited for a young person living in London (studying or having half-time another occupation) as the successful candidate will be working half-time and will have quite amount of the flexibility. Polish mother language is a must (as the working environment will be Polish speaking) Description of the project is available on our website. Dates: starting from - as soon as possible (at latest in mid-July) till 30 March 2009 Key Tasks In this position you will be responsible for: • Administration of the project (monthly statistics, financial reporting, liaising with the Project Manager in Brussels). • Organisation of the conference in London (in autumn 2008) and writing report from it. • Participating in activities for “one-stop mobility shop” for vulnerable migrants in London (providing information, advice, helping to solve the problems with documents, accommodation) • Collaborating with Barka team in London and with other partners of the project
Requirements:
-Polish – mother language -very good knowledge of English in writing and speaking -excellent computer skills -interest in workers mobility in the EU and social inclusion is a must - previous EU projects’ experience would be an asset - knowledge of the NGO working environment would be an asset - able to work well within a team - responsible and well organised - ability to be flexible, creative and pro-active - ability to do multiple tasks - respectful attitude towards homeless and addicted people
Offer:
Remuneration: 800 GBP/month (gross – the net remuneration depends on your status)
