The International Institute of Higher Studies in Criminal Sciences (ISISC) is a non profit organization that has been at the forefront of contemporary human rights research, training, publication and advocacy. ISISC specializes in the design and implementation of a variety of human rights, rule of law, justice and capacity-building projects throughout the world, with a special focus on Arab and Muslim countries.
The Institute was founded in Siracusa (Italy) in 1972 by a number of experts in the field of criminal sciences, including Professor M. Cherif Bassiouni, who currently serves as President of the Institute. |
